Orders received by 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, will be dispatched the same day! Please note that there may be slight delays in shipping at times of high volume orders. Can I return the product?
We hope that you will be delighted with your order, however, we do accept returns and are happy to offer you a store credit or exchange. You'll just need to:

After cleansing and applying your favourite water based serums follow with 2-3 drops of Afterglow Rejuvenating Bakuchiol. For extra nourishment, follow with your favourite moisturizer or oil. Can be used morning and night. Be sure to follow your morning application with SPF protection.

Our esmi Afterglow Bakuchiol is formulated to support smoother, firmer and more radiant-looking skin while helping to minimise the visible signs of ageing. It works to improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven skin tone, loss of elasticity and dullness, all while helping to maintain the skin's natural barrier.
Unlike traditional retinoids, bakuchiol doesn't bind directly to retinoid receptors within the skin. Instead, it influences many of the same cellular pathways involved in collagen production and skin renewal, helping to improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven skin tone and loss of firmness. Because bakuchiol works differently from retinol, it is often better tolerated by sensitive skin types and is less likely to cause dryness, flaking and irritation.
Absolutely! When paired with retinol, bakuchiol can help stabilise it and keep it effective for longer. Another benefit of using products that contain both bakuchiol and retinol is that bakuchiol’s calming ability may enable skin to tolerate retinol in higher amounts. We suggest to use your Bakuchiol and Retinol at different times of the day, or on alternative days to limit the chance of irritation or redness.
Bakuchiol is a naturally derived compound, extracted from the seeds and leaves of the Psoralea corylifolia plant (also known as Babchi). This is a plant native to parts of Asia that has been used for centuries in traditional Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine.
Our Afterglow Bakuchiol Serum is an oil based serum, safe to use either AM or PM, or both! After cleansing, apply 2-4 drops to the skin and once absorbed - follow with your chosen moisturising skin treat. If you are using any other water based serums (like our Hyaluronics or Brightening Serum), apply these first then follow with your Afterglow Bakuchiol.
Yes! The Afterglow Bakuchiol is totally safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding, making it a great retinol alternative. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, we recommend speaking to your healthcare practitioner before introducing any new products to the skin 🙏🏼 Ensure you are always patch testing before using any new product!
